Berny has been a member of Covenant since moving from Michigan to New Hampshire in early 2001. As a vocalist (alto) with previous experience in contemporary liturgical music, she has learned a great deal from singing with Covenant and feels very fortunate to be part of such a talented and gifted group. Praising God with the gift of music is something she looks forward to every week. She also enjoys spending time with her two boys (Nicky and Alex) and husband (Mike). |

Jay has been playing bass guitar steadily for about 5 years. He’s played in various rock and roll bands in the past but noticed something was always missing.
He finally listened to the messages the Lord was laying on his heart, and gave up the secular music scene. He first joined the group as a vocalist in 2004 and began taking bass lessons from the incredible Chris Allain shortly after that. It is an honor and a privilege to be a part of Covenant and play bass for an audience of One; Our Lord Jesus Christ. And he truly believes Chris is with him every time he plays. He hopes to see you all at the 11:30 Mass or at our next concert so we can sing praise and worship together! God Bless. |

Following a childhood moving throughout the northeast of the country, Sue’s family settled in New Hampshire in 1976. A graduate of New Hampshire College, Sue ‘builds strong kids, strong families, and strong communities’ as the Director of the Manchester YMCA. Married to her husband Brian for over 20 years, they have no children but enjoy their 23 nieces and nephews.
Sue joined the Ste. Marie musical ministry in 2002 thinking it would be a nice little hobby. Her prior singing career was limited to performances for one in her car. This ‘little hobby’ has enriched her life with a closer relationship with her God, a renewed sense of purpose and new friendships. She thanks God for the gift of Ste. Marie parish, and the Covenant group every day. |

Joanne Sherwood joined the group in the fall of 2003 as a soprano. She grew up in Tolland, CT where she sang for many years as part of Saint Bernard's Parish "folk group". Since moving to NH, Joanne is grateful to have found St. Marie's Parish and knew instantly that the "spirit" within the community here was something very special. Joanne lives in Hooksett with her husband Dan Sherwood and they have a 20 year old daughter Andrea who attends Johnson and Wales University. Joanne works for Mass Mutual as a Financial Services Representative in Bedford, NH, and also enjoys volunteering as a Big Sister for Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Greater Manchester. |
